The Deepwater Offshore Technology Conference will be held in Houston, TX from 6-8 October 2015.

AMOG’s Andrew Kilner will be presenting a paper at the conference, entitled “Towards API RP 2MIM – DeepStar® Guidelines for Risk Based Mooring Integrity Management,” outlining the path from the development and review of the DeepStar® 11405 Guideline, its development into an API Recommended Practice, and the influence the publication of this document can be expected to have on reducing the current unacceptable mooring failure probability rate.

The co-authors of the paper are Chris Carra (AMOG), Tim Lee (AMOG), KT Ma (Chevron), Amal Phadke (ConocoPhillips), Derrick Laskowski (ConocoPhillips), Bob Gordon (DNV GL) and Greg Kusinski (DeepStar® – Chevron).
